How we handle information from the contact form
This page explains what happens to the information you submit through the contact form on this site.
What we collect
When you submit the contact form, we collect the information you enter:
- your name
- your email address
- your club or organisation, if you provide one
- the subject and message you write
We also process your IP address at submission time, for spam prevention and rate limiting — described under service providers below.
How we use it
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, and to prevent spam and abuse of the contact form. We don't use it for marketing, and we don't sell or share it beyond what's needed to process and deliver your message, described below.
Service providers we use
Sending your message relies on two third-party services, necessary to process and deliver it:
- Cloudflare Turnstile — checks that the form was submitted by a person, not an automated script, before we process it. This sends your IP address to Cloudflare as part of that check.
- Resend — delivers your message to us by email.
We also keep a short-lived count of submissions per IP address, to limit how many messages can be sent from the same address in a given period. This count is automatically deleted after an hour and isn't used for anything else.
